I decided to start with the frosty flake stencil by The Greetery, using two different colors of ink, for each card, blueberry sky and hawaiian shores. On the rest of the cards I did a different layout but used the same products and colors.
Winter Woods by Papertrey is where this cardinal came from. I stamped him using pure poppy ink and versafine black ink with clear embossing powder. I die cut two birds and put foam tape between them for some dimension. The next picture down you will be able to see both of the layers.
The pine needles and pine cones are made using Botani cuts pine bough die from the Greetery. I ink blended them using classic kraft, cocoa bean, ripe avocado, simply chartreuse and new leaf ink. The sentiment is stamped in versafine black ink and embossed with clear embossing powder using the stamp set from Tree Trimmings by The Greetery. I took white kraft paint and mixed it with water and splattered it on my cards for a snowy effect. The last bling was some sequins in different sizes.
One last look at both cards. I hope you all find some inspiration today to create! Enjoy the Keeping Christmas Blog Hop!
Take care and I will see you next month!
Nancy
